Q Where are you located?
A Our address is: 81 Riverside St, Portland, ME 04103
Q How far are you from the airport?
A We are located 5 miles and 10 minutes from the Portland International Jetport (PWM). Our hotel offers shuttle van service from the airport to the hotel.
Q Are there train or bus stations nearby?
A Train and bus transportation is convenient to our hotel. We are located 5 miles from the Amtrak train station and Concord Coach Bus station. We provide shuttle service to these locations, as well as the Greyhound Bus station, located 3.5 miles away.

Q What method of payments do you accept?
A We accept chip enable cards such as VS,MC,AX,DS, & DC.
Q What is your cancellation policy?
A You must cancel before 4 PM on the day before arrival on a standard reservation. Cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate or dates of your reservation. Please refer to your reservation confirmation to verify your cancellation policy. If you fail to arrive without cancelling in advance or if you cancel after 4 PM local the day before, you will be charged for one night. If you need further assistance, call the hotel directly.
Q What are your check in and checkout times?
A Check in is after 4 P.M., and check out by 11 A.M.
Q Do you allow early check ins or late check outs?
A Requests for early check-in & late check-out will be handled based on hotel availability at the time of check-in. Should you need an earlier arrival than the hotel’s standard check-in time and want to guarantee that you would be able to check into your room upon arrival, we would advise you to reserve the night prior. Requests for a late checkout can be directed to the front office on the morning of your departure and may be subject to availability. After 1PM the full room rate applies. Fireside Inn and Suites can accommodate guest luggage complimentary in a secure location if needed.
Q What is the minimum age requirement to rent a room?
A You must be 21 with proper ID to rent a room.
Q Are pets allowed in the hotel guest rooms?
A Yes, except for our suites, cats and dogs are allowed at the hotel. There is a fee of $20 per pet, per night, and we require the pet not be left alone in the room during any part of the stay. Q How many people can I have in my room?
A The maximum allowable occupancy is 5 people per room.
Q Is there an extra charge for additional adults?
A We charge $10 plus tax for additional adults in the room after 2 adults.
Q Do you have a restaurant and a lounge?
A Our restaurant is currently closed due to COVID-19. Yes, our full service Zackery’s Restaurant is located on our lobby level as well as Zack’s Lounge. Breakfast is served from 6a-11a during weekdays and 7a -Noon on Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is served from 5p-9p Monday-Saturday with room service available 5p-9p Tuesday-Saturday. The lounge is open Monday through Saturday at 4pm.
Q Do you have a pool?
A We have 2! Our indoor heated pool is open year round, and our outdoor heated pool is open seasonally. Pools are open 8 A.M. – 10 P.M.
Q Do you have a fitness area?
A Our fitness area is currently closed due to COVID-19. Yes we have a workout facility featuring Stairmaster, treadmill, stationary bikes and free weights. A dry sauna and Jacuzzi hot tub are also available in our fitness area. The hours are 5:30 A.M. – 11 P.M.
Q Do you have smoking rooms?
A No, Fireside Inn and Suites offers a smoke-free environment. Guests may smoke outside in designated areas. A $250 recovery fee applies if smoking has been detected in a guest room of our facility.
Q Do you provide cribs or rollaway beds?
A Depending on availability. Cribs can be provided on request at no additional charge. Cots can be provided for an additional $10 per stay.
Q Do you have on-site parking?
A Yes, complimentary for an overnight stay. Extended parking is available for a fee. You MUST book our park and fly package to park for a longer duration that your stay. We do not offer camper or tractor trailer parking.
Q Do you have Internet access?
A Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel.
